Welcome ICLW’s! This is my first one and I hope to get some comments from current blog friends and also from some new viewers. If you are not familiar with ICLW, click here to read all about it and get the links of all the blogs participating this month. I will give a quick update of our story and where we stand right now, but click on the About and TTC Timeline sections to view all the details. My husband was diagnosed with MFI (more specifically morphology) in January 2012. After 3 failed IUI’s (2 with trigger shot), we are about to begin our first cycle of IVF with ICSI. I am currently taking BCP’s and will start my first meds (Lupron) on August 8th. Click here to view my specific protocol. As my blog title indicates, my husband and I are cautiously optimistic heading into this cycle of IVF and hope this is the answer to our hope for a baby. Not new but yaaaaay – Lupron is almost here!
Thanks! I know! July has been flying by (boo for summer vacation going so quickly, but yay for IVF meds – haha).
Stopping by from ICLW to wish you guys the very best of luck with your upcoming cycle. The best thing about IVF is the miraculous hope that it offers. Make no mistake IVF is an emotional rollercoaster, but I always tried to focus on how possible our dreams seemed while we were in a cycle. And it did work for us, I have just put my precious Hope Babes (who were conceived via IVF/IMSI) to bed and I can tell you that for us the hope was worth holding onto.
