I’m a 29 year old woman (K) who has been TTC with my husband (B) for over a year and a half.  We have an awesome 2 year old dog (C) who ensures we both get our daily does of exercise and fresh air.  In our unexpected journey, I have tried to remain a cautious optimist (hence the name of my blog), despite the roadblocks.  At times, I have to admit that I’ve let the disappointment and challenges of infertility get to me, but I have the blogging community to thank for being a source of strength.  My hope in creating my own blog is to return the favor by being a source of strength for others, but also to allow myself to receive support more visibly when I’m needing it the most.
